BLAINE’S path

Blaine received a Bachelor’s degree from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, now known as Advent Health University. In 2013, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, with her Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree.  In 2019, she furthered her education by earning her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate at the University of Cincinnati’s post-graduate program.

Blaine started her Nurse Practitioner career with the Acute Pain Management Service at the University of Maryland’s R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. At the center, she provided support to patients with medications as well as non-medication techniques.

From 2016 to 2020, Blaine worked and studied at the University of Maryland’s Center for Integrative Medicine in Baltimore, serving in both in- and outpatient settings in research, education, clinical work, and leadership.

In 2021, Blaine took a leap of faith and founded Integrative Health and Healing, centered on the principals of holistic and integrative medicine.

Blaine is so happy to be home in Florida, where she is able to spend time with family and friends again.  She has a passion for helping others heal, being the positive change the world needs, and leaving others better than when she found them.  While most of her days are focused on prescribing medications, non-medication techniques and whole person wellness is what drives her.  Blaine continues to seek educational opportunities to further enhance her knowledge and abilities while being a dog mom to her three dachshunds, Maddie, Bunnie and Luna Belle.
